Manchester-based delivery software business Sorted Group has raised a further £15m in series B funding.

Sorted, which is led by founder and CEO David Grimes, operates online delivery software platform for global retailers from its headquarters in the city centre.

Funding will be used to accelerate the pace of their technology development and international expansion and increase employee headcount, the firm said.

Sorted’s software is now live in 12 countries, including the US, France and Germany and counts ASOS, Lush, N Brown, Wincanton and Clipper Logistics among its client base.

David Grimes, founder and CEO of Sorted, said: “Sorted is rewriting the rules when it comes to delivery, and we’re delighted to be pushing forward with our global growth.

“The backing from these high-profile investors is testament to the size of the opportunity in front of us.

“This is a really exciting time as we work harder and faster, partnering with the most innovative retailers in the market.”

The recent funding round led by Merian Chrysalis Investment Company Limited, Praetura Ventures and NVM Private Equity, follows earlier rounds of investment, bringing Sorted’s funding to a total of more than £35m since it launched in 2010.
