The finalists have been revealed for Manchester Evening News inaugural Tech Awards.
A wealth of amazing organisations, businesses and individuals entered the awards, which will celebrate the best of the best in technology and digital companies across the region.
The awards were open to individuals and companies based in Greater Manchester and will recognise and showcase those companies that are driving the region’s thriving tech sector.
Manchester-based alternative finance provider, , is corporate sponsor. Amazon, Openreach, Bauhaus and have been confirmed as category sponsors.
The regions tech sector continues to go from strength to strength.
According to the latest figures from ONS, the CDT (creative, digital and tech) sector has contributed £4.4bn to the local economy.
The sector employs 72,000 people and has more than 10,000 CDT companies in the region. And according to Tech Nation, Manchester has the biggest cluster of high-performing digital firms in the country.
The region has also attracted global tech companies including Amazon, and with MoneySupermarket.com recently announcing a new location in Spinningfields.

The winners of the M.E.N. Tech Awards will be unveiled at a ceremony on Thursday, July 18, at the Runway Visitor Park, Concorde Conference Centre, Altrincham.
