The 海角视频's first online price comparison venture for booking mobile hairdresser and make-up artist appointments has been launched.
Glamdeva is the latest project from serial entrepreneur Gurinder Randeva, who described her online tech focused firm as catering for both last-minute bookings and the taking of reservations in advance - with the aim of becoming a one-stop shop for all things beauty.
Glamdeva allows people to search, compare and instantly book hair and make-up artists locally. So far almost 200 providers and professionals have signed up from across 海角视频, which is forecast to grow significantly in the months ahead.
Ms Randeva, who lives in Cardiff, has enjoyed various business successes, having invested and founded several tech firms in Wales over the years.
The start-up business is forecasting revenues of £250,000 in year one with the aiming of doubling that within to 2-3 years.
Ms Randeva said: “The whole team is excited to see the application being used. We have been working on the tech for some time now, and have enjoyed a great response from providers all over the country.
"We have worked closely with industry professionals to tailor Glamdeva as a robust solution for our customers and our professionals.”
She added: “The idea of an online marketplace came from my experience in searching for hair and make up artists for events and occasions which led me to explore the industry for an online booking platform.

"During my research, I found very little which compares prices instantly or gives various options. There is huge interest and enquiries are flowing in on a daily basis."
The revenue model is based on Glamdeva taking 15% on each booking made through the site.
The business is creating jobs in Cardiff in admin and tech and will expand into other markets as demand grows.
There is already demand for products and a salon-based service, but the current focus is on the mobile industry.
