Software solutions specialist Langley Foxall is looking to grow its workforce to a milestone 30 employees by the summer as part of its ambition to achieve 鈥榓t least 50 per cent growth' in 2021.
The Stafford business grew by 40 per cent in 2020 following a boom in business over the last 12 months.
Now it is looking to build on that this year as it continues to help its clients navigate a new way of working.
Managing director Nicholas Langley 鈥 who founded Langley Foxall in 2013 鈥 said: 鈥淥ur growth over the last 12 months has been down to two things really 鈥 a little bit of luck to start with, but also quite a bit of hard work from our sales team.
鈥淲e deal a lot with the manufacturing sectors and there鈥檚 obviously some really key areas that have exploded over the last 12 months and businesses have had to up their game in terms of software.
鈥淚n the chemical manufacturing sector particularly, we鈥檝e seen monumental growth over a 12-month period but a lot of places don鈥檛 actually have the processes in place to support that growth, so they鈥檝e had to realign their strategies and think about how they are going to continue to grow and make it sustainable.
鈥淚t means they have had to look at their processes and software to ensure they are able to continue working at that kind of scale, and of course, keep scaling up.鈥
Business development manager Anthony Fowler added: 鈥淚n this current climate, businesses cannot operate the way they have done in the past.
鈥淭here are businesses that may have previously been stuck in their ways, with heavy paperwork and spreadsheets etc, but these businesses, particularly manufacturers, now need to evolve and are leaning on us.
鈥淭hey have not had to do it before but now they are researching, asking questions and looking at different software solutions 鈥 and we are providing that advice and guidance.
鈥淲e鈥檝e got a lot of experience working in many different industries and we鈥檙e happy to provide that support.鈥
Anthony added: 鈥淭he exciting thing is that businesses are open to change now and are embracing the digital transformation that has happened over the last 12 months, and that鈥檚 been really beneficial for us.鈥
In the next six months, Langley Foxall 鈥 which is based at Staffordshire Technology Park 鈥 has plans to increase its 24-strong workforce to in excess of 30 by the end of June.
Nicholas said: 鈥淲e took three new developers on last year and we鈥檙e looking to do the same again in the first quarter of 2021, we鈥檙e also going to expand the sales team.
鈥淪o we鈥檙e on a massive recruitment drive at the moment which is really exciting.
鈥淥ver the past 12 months, one of my main phrases has been 鈥榯ough times don鈥檛 last but tough teams do鈥 so we are really working on the teams to make sure that we鈥檝e got that resilience as a business and are cultivating the right culture going forward.鈥
