Two entrepreneurs have developed a health and safety app to help businesses get back to normal post-Covid.

Jonny Gray and Adam Civval created the app called Work Wallet four years ago for companies in the rail, construction and manufacturing industries keep their sites, staff, and contractors safe and operational.

In the last few months they said they had seen five times as many people using the software as businesses adapt to the pandemic.

The company boasts clients in the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ, Europe and Asia and is looking to further expand its team from its Derby headquarters.

The all-in-one health and safety platform has 10 modules that feed information to employees and collects feedback for management.

Work Wallet can track requirements including permits to work, site safety briefings, RAMS, audits, accident reporting, risk assessments and digital inductions.

Jonny, who won Tech Business Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2017 Derby Telegraph Business Awards said the primary purpose was to improve communication when it comes to health and safety.

He said: “Work Wallet was designed to be simple to use. Technology is successful if people understand quickly how to use it and the benefits of using it.
