An East Yorkshire IT firm has unveiled its ambitious growth plans as it sets itself a mission to help companies thrive in a digital-first economy.

Hessle-headquartered IT@Sprectrum - now just Spectrum as part of the move - aims to double its £10 million turnover in the next three years.

It has already employed 15 more staff in the past 12 months - including a head of digital solutions to drive forward the strategy.

A dozen young recruits are also set to join a Spectrum Campus training programme as it invests in new talent to aid its support of business transformation - improving efficiency, productivity and profitability through technology.

Steve Motley, Spectrum’s head of digital solutions, said: “The pandemic has shown like never before how vital digital technology is to companies across all sectors and how it can be leveraged to drive business performance.

“After all, who would have believed, before Covid, that entire businesses could be operated remotely with staff switching to working from home within days.

“Now it’s great that teams are back in the office or operating hybrid working models, but it’s clear the pace of digital transformation has been fast-tracked by the pandemic.
