High growth payment processing firm Card Industry Professionals has opened a new head office as it aims to double staff numbers, while plotting international expansion.

The Old Granary at Aylesby, on the outskirts of Grimsby, has been taken on by the 12-strong team, which has just brought in seven figure revenues for the first time - four years on from launch.

And it aims to replicate the rate of expansion at the sympathetic rural conversion with the 130 self-employed field sales representatives it relies on - while exploring the potential to directly employ more in key areas.

Ciaran Savage, founder, said: “Everything is coming together, with a solid foundation, and we are going to scale and grow from here.

“Cash is declining, contactless payment is increasing, and our merchant businesses are growing month-on-month. Recurring revenues have grown over 150 per cent in the last 12 months, and in August we ended the year with revenues of £1.2 million.

“How we will grow and expand further was the question, and we needed dedicated space. We see this as a long term head office. We want to be based here, our heritage and families are here, it is highly suitable for us all and we expect to be here for many years to come.

“There are also a lot of talented people because of the history of the sector in the area.”
