Healthcare technology firm Tunstall opens Manchester hub

'Our Manchester base will help us to attract some of the brightest talent in the sector'

Health and care tech firm Tunstall Healthcare has opened a tech hub in Manchester city centre.

The Yorkshire firm decided to open the hub in St Peter’s Square to tap into the city region's skilled workforce.

The hub is being officially opened today by Manchester's Lord Mayor Donna Ludford and Tunstall's senior team.

Tunstall is recruiting for new staff for the hub in areas including quality and testing, software development and business analysis. They will work alongside the existing tech teams based in Yorkshire, Sweden, Germany and Spain.

The group was founded in 1957 and has grown from being an equipment provider to a software and tech firm offering telecare and telehealth managed services.

Emil Peters, Tunstall Group CEO, said: “This is undoubtedly a huge and exciting milestone for Tunstall as we open our latest º£½ÇÊÓÆµ office space, in the renowned business and technology hub of Manchester. Our new base is the perfect location to serve our customers across the country and in the north west, as well as attracting new talent to the Tunstall brand.
