West Midlands fitness clothing brand Gymshark has launched a new training app.
The Solihull-based company has created the new mobile app to help people with their strength and conditioning training.
It has both a free and premium subscription service which it said would allow users to plan, view and track their workouts while its own in-house athletes are on hand to help premium customers with one-to-one help.
Gymshark was founded in 2012 by Ben Francis and last year relocated from its previous base in Redditch to a new purpose-built head office in Solihull.
At the time, the company said it had capacity to double its payroll to around 450 staff.
Earlier this year, it signed up as a sponsor of a business support programme called 'Lift Your Business' aimed at helping tech SMEs in the city.
It has also invested £5 million in the so-called Gymshark Lifting Club, a new studio and fitness centre focussing on employee wellbeing and brand innovation next to its head office on Blythe Valley Park.
Mr Francis was a finalist in the run by our sister website BirminghamLive last year which highlighted some of the most inspiring under 30s living and working in the city.
