Growing Newcastle tech firm Oak Engage launches recruitment drive

The firm works with some of the world’s biggest brands including Aldi, Boohoo, Halfords, ITV and Five Guys

Newcastle tech firm Oak Engage is creating 35 new jobs as its continues to expand on the back of new contracts around the globe.

The company, which has offices at Generator Studios, helps businesses engage and connect their people through its mobile app and SaaS (Software as a Service) platform and works with some of the world’s biggest brands including Aldi, Boohoo, Halfords, ITV and more recently Five Guys.

The firm has seen rapid growth during the pandemic, as firms seeks to connect more closely with their staff using Oak Engage’s intranet software, triggering the need for more staff.

The firm is currently recruiting for 27 people in its product, engineering, customer success, marketing and business development divisions, and also intends to add a further eight roles before the end of July, almost doubling the 55 jobs already created at its headquarters.

Oak Engage has also hired 17 people already this year.

Oak’s cloud-based platform provides a range of internal communications tools that integrate with office applications, helping improve productivity.

There’s a key focus on wellbeing and engagement, which is more crucial than ever before with people working remotely due to the pandemic.
