Global tech firm setting up new hub in Cardiff

Tech firm SIPCOM is setting up a new hub in Cardiff to serve it rapidly expanding global client base.

With its London HQ and an office in New York, the company specialises in designing and implementing unified communications and collaboration solutions for clients.

Its new Cardiff hub, which will initially create 15 high-skilled jobs, will be based at Cardiff Council's Cardiff Business Technology Centre.

The council's economic development team secured the investment project for the city in the face of competition from rival cities across the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ.

The growing strength of the tech sector in the capital and wider Cardiff Capital Region, played a pivotal role in securing the investment.

The firm's tech platform brings voice, video, instant messaging, email and conferencing together in a unified collaborative experience that assists people to work better and smarter -  leveraging both private and public cloud solutions.

Its clients include the Home Office, Civil Aviation Authority, SEGA, Ralph Lauren, Smith & Williamson and a range of businesses from small and medium to multinationals that span the globe.

It also works global technologies organisations, such as Microsoft, Cisco and CenturyLink by providing voice platforms for businesses in all industries both for wholesales and direct.
