A global financial information services firm has announced plans to open its second 海角视频 office in Manchester.
Fitch Group, owned by magazine company Hearst and operational in 30 countries worldwide, will open its new office in Lowry House, near Piccadilly Station in September.
The group鈥檚 intention is to be based there for one to two years as the team is built before moving to a permanent location nearby, it said.
Paul Taylor, CEO and president of Fitch Group, said: 鈥淔itch Manchester will be an important long-term complementary location to Fitch鈥檚 London office - much the same as our Chicago and New York offices are in the United States.
The group is aiming to have 25 members of staff working at the new office by the end of the year, before increasing the number 鈥渟teadily鈥 over the next two years.
Mr Taylor said: 鈥淥ur aim is to base both non-analytical and analytical team members there over time.鈥
Fitch Group is comprised of Fitch Ratings, credit ratings and research, Fitch Solutions, a provider of credit market data, analytical tools and risk services and Fitch Learning, a preeminent training and professional development firm.
Ian Linnell, president at Fitch Ratings, said: 鈥淲e鈥檙e looking at moving and growing a wide range of activities that is currently done in London so the idea is that over time it will become a full service office.

鈥淭he initial focus is on building out what we call a middle-office function, around some core operations that support our traditional rating process, which is how we go about rating companies and assigning and promulgating credit ratings.
鈥淭hen, over time, we鈥檒l be looking at other group functions and operations, not just in ratings but in other areas of Fitch Group that we could move into our Manchester office.鈥
The firm chose Manchester because of transport links both internationally and to London, and the 鈥渕ature and diverse鈥 finance, tech and professional services in the city, Mr Taylor said.
鈥淚mportantly, we feel Manchester has a growth story that resonates with ours.
鈥淲e see the potential in the city鈥檚 talent pool, especially graduate talent, and believe that Manchester will become an even greater source of talent in future years.鈥

Mr Linnell added: "Manchester has a very good, deep, liquid labour pool for the types of positions we're after.
聽鈥淢anchester also has other companies that are setting up offices or satellite offices here and also it鈥檚 a good cultural city, it鈥檚 got a vibrant cultural scene, because obviously we want to attract people into a place where they actually want to live.
鈥淲e wanted a good, vibrant city centre location, we didn鈥檛 want to put the operation out on the M62 somewhere in some sort of industrial estate.
鈥淲e鈥檙e trying to give people a good quality of life, a good commute, a good quality location, a vibrant location where they can enjoy the benefits of being in the city centre and being in an interesting place to live and work.鈥
