Global EdTech company Discovery Education has opened its new º£½ÇÊÓƵ and international headquarters in Bath.

The new offices in Palace Yard Mews were officially opened by Jeremy Cowdrey, chief executive, and Howard Lewis, º£½ÇÊÓƵ and international managing director.

The company's relocation from London to Bath follows its acquisition of Bath-based Doodle Learning in August 2022. The new headquarters will house more than 50 members of Discovery Education's º£½ÇÊÓƵ and international teams, focused on delivering digital learning services, including Espresso, Coding Health and Relationships, and DoodleLearning to students worldwide.

Mr Cowdrey said: “Discovery Education’s º£½ÇÊÓƵ and International office plays a pivotal role in our global business. We’re excited to open this new HQ in Bath, a thriving city and growing centre for technology and innovation here in the º£½ÇÊÓƵ.”

Mr Lewis added: “Discovery Education is proud to expand our presence here in Bath. We’re committed to working with the local community to promote the tech industry, develop future talent and encourage positive change for young people.”

Earlier this year, Discovery Education committed to a two-year partnership with Bath-based charity Mentoring Plus, to raise funds to support young people experiencing challenging situations. Discovery Education has also taken part in a number of local community initiatives, such as the Bath Digital Festival, and recruits interns and placement students from the University of Bath.
