Former British Airways executive named new Northcoders chair

A former British Airways executive has been named as the new chair of software coding training programmes provider Northcoders Group.

Angela Williams has taken on the role from Sandy Lindsay after four years on the board.

Manchester-headquartered Northcoders floated on AIM in July 2021 and recently revealed plans to double its headcount and expand further across the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ.

Angela Williams has previously held senior executive roles for companies such as British Airways, Sodexo, Centrica and Land Securities.

She was most recently was brought in as interim group chief people officer at the Post Office.

She has held a number of non-executive directorships including Which? Financial Services Ltd, Central & Cecil Housing Trust, Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, and Energy and Utility Skills.
