A fast-growing Manchester-headquartered robotics firm has moved its head office to Bruntwood Works' historic Blackfriars House as it reveals plans for further growth.
Agile Automations has relocated from WeWorks in No.1 Spinningfields to larger office space at the newly refurbished building to accommodate new staff over the next 18 months.
Agile Automations, set up in 2015, specialises in creating robotic process automations (RPA) for companies of all sizes, which aims to help them identify and streamline manual business processes.
Clients include those in the financial, property, insurance sectors.
Chief executive Martin Keelagher said: “It’s a really exciting time for our business as we’ve seen strong growth in the sector as well as our business, which has been accelerated by the pandemic as more businesses adopt the use of cutting-edge AI technology, to allow them to create a robotic workforce.
“As we continue to onboard new clients and expand our existing projects and automations with our clients, this new space provides us with the capacity for growth, as we see the need to take on new, sector leading talent in the next 18 months including more software developers and support staff.
“It also allows us to work better as a team and work collaboratively with other businesses based here at Blackfriars House and across the 海角视频, Europe and beyond.”
The firm is the latest to take space in the building, by Bruntwood Works, which has been refurbished to create a collaborative hub for businesses.

Inspired by the building’s 1920s heritage, it includes a lounge area with fireplaces for less formal meetings and 12 dedicated coworking desks.
The ground floor now houses a hidden podcast studio which doubles as a 1920s-style reading room, a 70-seat auditorium which is designed for future talks and events, and an independent coffee shop operated by Bean - and there are also plans to develop a new rooftop restaurant and events space.
