A software firm providing services to clients including Mercedes and Mclaren has boosted revenue by 29 percent in the last year to 拢46.7 million.

The increase for Nottinghamshire-based has confirmed a decade of successive growth and follows a positive financial year which has included the announcement of new offices in the USA and Malaysia.

According to unaudited financial year results for the company, which provides safety, quality and document management, earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) also rose 30 percent to 拢14.3 million.

Ben Dorks, Ideagen鈥檚 CEO, said: 鈥淲e are pleased to report that we have achieved our objectives this year, significantly increasing the group's global footprint, particularly in the US, and delivering another year of strong revenue and profit growth, underpinned by excellent cash generation.

鈥淓xcellent strategic progress has been made, in particular with the three acquisitions completed during the year. This has strengthened our product range and keeps us well-placed to support our customers and capitalise on the significant market opportunities ahead.鈥

He added: 鈥淚 am encouraged by the success in our priority international markets which continue to form a significant expansion opportunity.鈥

Other results posted in the report show revenue also increased through its software as a service (SaaS) offering (up 63 percent to 拢13.7m), while its annual recurring revenue book increased 44 percent to 拢36.4 million.

There have also been successes for Ideagen's acquired companies.

InspectionXpert, which was brought in last September, has 900 US manufacturing customers and has offered a platform for growth in North America.

The acquisition of the firm, in addition to Morgan Kai Group Ltd, doubled the firm's audit and quality inspection business.

A deal agreed with Irish-based SaaS group Scannell Solutions, meanwhile, has allowed Ideagen to speed up its offerings in the environmental health, safety and quality (EHSQ) monitoring and auditing market.

David Hornsby, Ideagen鈥檚 executive chairman, added: 鈥淭he group met or exceeded all key financial and operational objectives for the year including targets for revenue, profitability, organic growth, cash generation and customer retention.

鈥淭hese results are underpinned by Ideagen鈥檚 world class customer base, strong global reach, outstanding product set and proven and effective management team."
