A company which provides specialist services to support disabled and deaf people across the 海角视频 has become the latest business to relocate to Plymouth Science Park.
Complete Communication provides cost-effective communication, education and language specialist services and is moving from another part of Plymouth.
Plymouth Science Park is already home to five education and training based organisations, including Sponge, University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust Project SEARCH, University of Plymouth’s School of Health Professions & Peninsula Medical School and South Devon College.

The move to Plymouth Science Park will support Complete Communication to achieve its ambitious growth plans as it works alongside like-minded businesses already based at the park.

Complete Communication aims to ensure that deaf and disabled people can have full access to any service they need and feel like a valued member of their community.
It provides services to support students accessing Disabled Student Allowance Support funding, unique British Sign Language and Deaf and Disability awareness courses, and communication services at events including theatre performances, festivals and webinars across the 海角视频.

Complete Communication works across the 海角视频 and collaborates closely with regional universities in the South West and popular entertainment venues including the Northcott Theatre in Exeter and the Theatre Royal Plymouth.

The arrival of Complete Communication at Plymouth Science Park is the latest in a raft of new arrivals in 2021.
In June the NHS Peninsula Clinical Genetics service moved in closely following the arrival of leading global semiconductor company X-FAB which is basing its highly skilled design and development engineers from its research and development team at Plymouth Science Park.
In May recruitment business Nurses Direct moved in, as did global design, engineering and project management consultancy Atkins. Recently the NHS SW Peninsula Transplant Service’s (SWPTS) stem cell transplant processing laboratory team chose the park, close to the Derriford Hospital site.

That arrival came hot on the heels of global tech firm Genese Solution, which moved its 海角视频 headquarters from London to Plymouth to support ambitious growth plans.

Other recent arrivals at the park include US-headquartered Ancora Software and digital design agency Knowthis, which arrived at the park’s special Formation Zone for start-up businesses.
In February 2021, pioneering drug firm Amprologix, a University of Plymouth spin-out, settled at the park, following the arrivals of data tech company Gathering Momentum and toothpaste research venture Modus Laboratories.
Originally named Tamar Science Park, PSP was incorporated in 1996 as a joint venture between the University of Plymouth and Plymouth City Council.
More than £30m of investment, including ERDF, SWRDA and HotSW LEP grants, have funded five separate phases of development since 1996.
The board of PSP comprises senior representatives from Plymouth City Council. including the elected leader of the council, and the University of Plymouth, plus three independent non-executive directors. The 25-acre campus is home to science and technology businesses involved in digital, creative, marine, earth and life sciences.
