Cloud-gaming specialist to jump on KCom network in first wholesale addition

Zybre partners with Hull and East Yorkshire network to 'push the limits' of entertainment tech

Tim Shaw, managing director of KCom Wholesale & Networks.

Cloud gaming is set to be revolutionised in Hull and East Yorkshire following a ground-breaking new partnership between KCom and home entertainment company Zybre.

The London-based internet service provider specialises in entertainment packages including cutting-edge cloud gaming and customisable TV.

It will use KCom’s award-winning, ultrafast full fibre network to deliver its services across the region.

Zybre will use the Nvidia Shield TV Pro, and the Nvidia GeForce Now game streaming service to provide customers access to the latest big name game releases without the need for a console.

The TV-accessed service is one of the first of its kind in the world.

Jonny Robinson, Zybre co-founder and chief executive, said the partnership highlights Zybre’s intent to deliver a next-generation bundle that includes cloud gaming, customisable Android TV, ultrafast broadband as well as VoIP and mobile SIM options.

He said: “We want to provide Hull and the rest of the º£½ÇÊÓƵ with something new and exciting, and our partnership with KCom allows us the opportunity to deliver just that.

“The proposition of customisable TV alongside cloud gaming sets us apart from other providers within the ISP space and gives both families and individuals access to a wider opportunity of entertainment.”
