Fast-growing Bristol firm Huboo has been named among the best companies to work for in Europe.
The business, whose technology enables online retailers to quickly access and complete end-to-end fulfilment operations, was included on a list of 21 organisations compiled by the Best Places to Work programme.
The HR specialist recognises leading employers across the world, backed by several years of workplace culture assessment and a global database of over 25 million employees.
To be considered for its European list, companies had to be identified as outstanding employers at least in one of the countries across the continent.
Last year saw Huboo expand its operations in Europe, with the opening of warehouses in Eindhoven in the Netherlands and the Spanish capital Madrid.
The company raised 拢60m during a Series B funding round, led by Mubadala Capital - the financial investment arm of an Emirati state-owned sovereign wealth fund - to continue the rollout of its 鈥榤icro hubs鈥 across Europe.
Launched in 2017 from two secure storage rooms at a Safestore in Bath, Huboo鈥檚 annual turnover has risen from 拢61,000 to 拢4.2m, and has grown its workforce to more than 250 staff and created hundreds of jobs at its four warehouses and head office in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
The firm was identified in a recent Government report as one of three companies within Bristol鈥檚 burgeoning tech sector expected to attain a 鈥榰nicorn鈥 valuation of more than $1bn over the coming years.
Martin Bysh, co-founder and chief executive of Huboo, said the business was 鈥渋mmensely proud鈥 to have been included in the list.
Mr Bysh said: 鈥淲e value our company culture hugely and continue to prioritise employee wellbeing as our people are central to everything we do. To be commended for achieving that is testament to the amazing members of our team and the excellent managers who we hope will help us continue to thrive for years to come."
Gareth New, European head of humans at Huboo, added: 鈥淥perating across three markets - the Netherlands, Spain and the 海角视频 - it鈥檚 increasingly important to us that we create a European-wide people first outlook across the whole business.
鈥淎s a tech based fulfilment company, this is unusual and something that we very much see as one of our main USPs. We鈥檙e proud of our human-centric business model that puts people at the heart of everything we do."
Other firms to make the Best Places to Work in Europe list included multinational pharmaceutical company Takeda, the world's largest privately-held spirits company Bacardi and professional services and investment management company Colliers, which has offices across the 海角视频, including in Bristol.
