A specialist IT recruiter using artificial intelligence to help find the best candidates is planning to capitalise on a great start by doubling its own team.

Principal IT launched in January, and has helped dozens of candidates find new jobs, with no sign of slowing down.

Based at Hull’s Centre For Digital Innovation, it is harnessing the latest specialist recruitment software to fill roles in software development, infrastructure, architecture, operations and development, project management and IT management.

Managing director Glen Halliwell, who harbours international ambitions, said: “Since our launch, we have had the privilege of partnering with some of Hull’s best-known companies. I am confident that we are the only specialist recruiter in the region utilising the AI software we have, giving us an edge over our competition.

“We have had a real surge in demand recently and need to grow to keep up with our clients. By doubling the team in the next 12 months, I am confident we can do this whilst breaking into new areas. The long-term plan is to have multiple º£½ÇÊÓƵ locations and international operations in central Europe and America. Watch this space!”

Principal IT has been working with C4DI members and partner businesses, as well as C4DI directly to help support a number of initiatives.
