An Antrim software company has won new work with 11 government departments across the island of Ireland.

Decision Time, which provides software for managing meetings, risk and objectives, has successfully won competitive tenders with Department of Rural and Community Development and the Department of Social Protection in the Republic of Ireland and the Northern Ireland Civil Service, which has nine government departments as well as other non-ministerial departments and agencies.

Decision Time鈥檚 contract with the Northern Ireland Civil Service was secured via the 海角视频 government G-Cloud framework agreement, whilst the contracts with the two government departments in the Republic of Ireland were tendered for separately.

The firm鈥檚 software makes it easier for organisations to practice good governance by running effective meetings, managing risk and monitoring their strategic performance. It enables CEOs, directors and leaders across any organisation to manage all of those requirements in one place.

鈥淩egulated organisations are complex, and governing them from board level is challenging,鈥 Geoff Higgins, CEO of Decision Time, said. 鈥淥rganisations also know that the impact of ineffective corporate governance can be severe, with potential financial, service, reputational, and particularly in the case of the public sector, societal implications. So, demand for our software has been very strong in the past few years, something that the pandemic has only served to intensify.鈥

鈥淭he public sector in the Republic of Ireland is one of our fastest growing markets at present which I think reflects well on its public bodies. Corporate governance in Ireland has clearly moved forward dramatically in the last decade or so and is now a very high priority, which means better decision-making, better management, and better outcomes for society. It鈥檚 also good news for Decision Time and means our software is likely to remain in strong demand,鈥 he adds.

In the last two years, Decision Time has more than doubled its customer-base including continuing to win business from large global competitors. And its projections are for revenues to more than double from 拢2.4million per annum in 2020 to beyond 拢5m in 2023. Decision Time also recently announced highly regarded entrepreneur and business leader Patrick McAliskey as its new chairman.
