The Access Group sees revenues jump 50% to £480m after making 18 acquisitions in a year

A tech company which has been snapping up companies across the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ has posted a 50 per cent rise in revenues.

Business management software provider The Access Group said turnover hit £480 million in the year to June – up £166 million year-on-year.

Meanwhile adjusted EBITDA was £180 million, up by £71 million on the year before.

In a statement the business said: “These results represent 16 straight years of uninterrupted profitable growth for the company.”

Overall the group, which is based in a new £20 million headquarters in Loughborough, Leicestershire, completed 18 acquisitions in the year. Meanwhile, it said organic revenues grew by 10 per cent in the year.

It said the total number of people using Access Workspace - its global software service - grew to more than 1 million during the year, with the total number of businesses using it rising by 20,000 to more than 55,000.

Founded in 1991, Access Group now employs 3,850 people and is planning continued investment in new staff over the coming months.
