Over 20 cutting-edge technology innovations from South West start-ups and entrepreneurs will be on display in the Innovation Showcase at Venturefest SW in Exeter this month.
The Innovation Showcase is an opportunity for investors to see the latest technology and prototypes from the region and the trends and innovations that might become part of our daily lives in the years ahead.

The impressive tech coming out of the South West will be on display at Venturefest SW at Sandy Park on June 17.
It includes an agri tech immersive dome, robotics, augmented reality and virtual reality, energy harvesting from human knee bending, electric mobility vehicles for the disabled, the world’s first and only instrument able to identify and warn of the presence of airborne asbestos fibres and a passenger carrying autonomous motorcycle.

Based in Chudleigh, Lightfoot is the world’s first Connected Car technology that rewards better drivers. Lightfoot, which is investing more than half-a-million pounds in the , aims to achieve its goal by installing its in-car technology – often described as "the Fitbit for cars" – in at least 5,500 vehicles by the end of the year. In so doing, this will remove 550 tonnes of pollutants from the city's air. Lightfoot's technology has been widely used in the fleet sector by household names including Virgin Media, Greencore, and South West Water.
KALEIDER
Exeter-based production studio that plays at the edges of installation, live performance and digital. It hosts and supports a community of creative individuals and companies. They are Co-Executive Producers, with Watershed, on the South West Creative Technology Network.
