Engenera Renewables Group, one of the 海角视频鈥檚 leading renewable energy companies, achieved considerable success - winning in two categories - at this year鈥檚 North East Regional Energy Efficiency Awards, held at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead on Friday, October 22.
The Newcastle Upon-Tyne based renewables company - currently the reigning national installation contractor of the year - was shortlisted in four categories at this year鈥檚 regional finals: regional small-scale project of the year; regional large-scale project of the year; regional renewable heat installer and contractor of the year; and regional solar PV installer and contractor of the year.
Additionally, its chief executive officer, Bryan Glendinning, was nominated as the regional energy efficiency champion of the year.
On the night, the company was chosen as the solar PV installer and contractor of the year award winner for the fourth consecutive year, and its CEO, Bryan Glendinning, was chosen as the energy efficiency champion award winner for the second consecutive year.
It was also highly commended in the renewable heat installer and contractor of the year, and large scale project of the year categories, with a further commendation in the small scale project of the year category.
The North East Regional Energy Efficiency Awards are open to anyone involved in the energy saving and efficiency sector within the North East region. The purpose of the awards is to recognise best practice within the energy efficiency industry, and the judging process assesses demonstrable skills, expertise and quality of service from nominees.
Winning the regional solar PV installer and contractor of the year award means that, in the opinion of the judges, Engenera Renewables Group is an exceptional company working in the installation, repair and/or maintenance of solar photovoltaic systems. It recognises Engenera鈥檚 efforts as fully qualified solar photovoltaic installers and contractors providing excellent customer service and demonstrating a high standard of quality workmanship.
This year鈥檚 regional energy efficiency champion of the year award recognises Glendinning as an exceptional individual that has shown a true commitment to promoting energy efficiency within the North East region. The award shines a bright light on his efforts and seeks to thank him for his service to the local community.
The company鈥檚 highly commended status in the regional renewable heat installer or contractor of the year award category recognises its skill at the installation, implementation and maintenance of energy-efficient heating systems that qualify for the government's Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).
The large scale project of the year category also saw Engenera achieve highly commended status. It recognises the company鈥檚 success at delivering a successful energy-saving project, of greater value than 拢250,000, while maintaining excellent customer service and demonstrating a high standard of quality workmanship throughout the project.
