EttleFettle Consulting is a brand new business that has recently launched in the North East, designed to help companies unblock their pain points, streamline their processes, and get the best out of their IT systems.

With its name being a combination of 'ettle' meaning 'to intend', and 'fettle' meaning 'to repair', the business aims to help local businesses improve their operations - on an affordable, easy-to-access basis.

What鈥檚 the problem?

Helen Doherty, the founder of EttleFettle said: 鈥淚T has increasingly become the main lifeblood of businesses rather than a separate specialism. Companies need to get a grip on their systems and make sure they鈥檙e working for them, not against them, but that鈥檚 easier said than done.

鈥淓veryone鈥檚 got their day job to do and it鈥檚 hard to find the time to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. So, companies often just firefight issues, throwing money at their problems and buying newer, more expensive systems without tackling the underlying problems, wasting time and effort without making things better.

鈥淗aving worked with many different companies across a wide range of sectors, I鈥檝e seen the same issues crop up time and time again: IT systems that don鈥檛 seem to deliver what they promise, inefficient or ineffective back-end processes, teams who seem to be working against each other instead of together, and breakdowns in communications between customers and IT suppliers - sometimes they seem to be talking completely different languages!鈥
