Imogen Cardwell, operations director at PAM Group highlighted its multidisciplinary appraoch, she said: "Individuals are initially assessed by one of our occupational health advisors who then identify the correct pathway.
"If an employee requires physiotherapy, for example, we would refer to one of our PAM physios who sits within our PAM Physio Solutions team. If an individual has a neurodivergence or is looking for a diagnosis we provide the psychologists, as well as support with mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression through our PAM Wellbeing service.

All controlled within one platform, businesses are able to help their employees manage their health, including chronic conditions.
Over the last two years, the agility and effectiveness of PAM's Occupational Health service has been highlighted by the increase number of clients turning to PAM to help employees struggling with long Covid.

A recent carried out by PAM Group shows the effectiveness of its resources with helping clients with long-term illnesses get back to the workplace.

Out of 100 people who received received a range of support - including physiotherapy for breathlessness, sessions for depression or help with muscle and joint pain - 82% were able to return.
"Getting an occupational to create a recommended rehabilitation plan, including workplace adjustment, such as allowing the person to continue working from home, if they are easily fatigued could be very worthwhile", explained Imogen.

Getting to understand individual's needs is a huge part of PAM Wellbeing's tailored service, supporting customers through mental health, psychological and wellbeing solutions, often alongside other PAM services.
