A Yorkshire high street retailer has collapsed into administration.
Yorkshire Linen, part of The Towel Rail Ltd, has confirmed Liverpool-based BDO LLP has been appointed its administrator.
The chain, which has a branch in King Edward Street in Hull, recently advertised 'flash sales' in its city centre shop.

A statement has now confirmed however that the retailer has ceased trading with immediate effect.
It comes just months after staff at the store were reportedly told the company had had a reprieve and would be staying open.
The letter on the door of Yorkshire Linen says: “Francis Graham Newton and Sarah Megan Rayment of BDO LLP were appointed joint administrators of The Towel Rail Ltd on June 13.
“Please note that the administrators act as agents of the company and without personal liability.
“If you have any queries, please contact the joint administrators in writing at BDO LLP, 5 Temple Square, Temple Street, Liverpool, L2 5RH.”

Yorkshire Linen’s website also disappeared on Wednesday.
A pop-up message on the site also confirmed the administration.
It read: “The Company has ceased to trade with immediate effect.
“Creditors with claims against the Company should email BRNotice@bdo.co.uk in the first instance.
“The Joint Administrators will be writing to all creditors in the next few days with formal notification of their appointment.”
Yorkshire Linen specialised in the sale of bedding, curtains, cushions and throws.
Founded in 1993, the retailer also had stores in places including Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield.

Yorkshire Linen has now become the latest Hull city centre store to shut its doors.
Just weeks ago, another King Edward Street shop cited “barely any footfall” in the street as it announced a closing down sale.
Mootch, which sells alternative fashion and accessories, opened in 2011 but is now preparing to wave goodbye.
