Wren Kitchens’ plan to open its 100th º£½ÇÊÓƵ showroom in the º£½ÇÊÓƵ in 2020 is back on track, as its expansion programme resumes.

The leading kitchen retailer will open a further four showrooms throughout July and August in Worcester, Wakefield, Wolverhampton and Peterborough - with eight more to follow before the end of the year.

The Humber’s leading employer, headquartered at Barton, opened a 92nd showroom in Banbury, Oxfordshire, last month.

It was appointments only until yesterday, Tuesday, June 2, with the firm having challenged vague regulations on store definitions with trading standards, prior to full public opening this week.

The identity of the 100th store is yet to be decided, but it will be one of the eight scheduled to open in Mansfield, Altrincham, Oldham, Greenwich, Northampton, Kings Lynn, Durham and Carlisle.

It comes as it enters the US market too, with a huge plan to replicate a decade’s success in the º£½ÇÊÓƵ with virtually integrated manufacturing and retail. Plans there remain on track.
