Spokesman Eddie Gershon said: "Wetherspoon confirms that  a  member  of  staff at the North and South Wales Bank in Wrexham tested  positive for Covid -19  on 13th August, having taken a test as a result of contact  with someone outside of the pub who had shown symptoms of the virus.

"Eleven  employees  who had been in close contact with their colleague were, as a result, asked to self–isolate.

"Two of these employees tested positive on 18th August while in isolation.
