American burger chain Wendy鈥檚 is expanding across the 海角视频 with a series of restaurant openings it says will create 400 jobs.
The company, known for its square burgers, returned to the 海角视频 in 2021 after two decades away. It now has more than 30 restaurants, and opened stores last year in Derby, Guildford, Chelmsford and Bilton.
Wendy鈥檚 will open a Middlesbrough venue 鈥渋n the coming months鈥, with another franchisee restaurant opening in Newcastle later this year.
In Yorkshire Wendy鈥檚 is set to open a second Sheffield venue, this time in Arena Road, following its first opening in the city in 2022. Just last month it added a second site in Hull.
Merseyside after the success of the brand鈥檚 delivery kitchen at Gravity Max in Liverpool city centre.
In London, Wendy鈥檚 newest franchisee, GH Burgers, later this year. Meanwhile Wendy鈥檚 will be opening in Cambridge and in Southend-on Sea, with Colchester soon set to see its second Wendy鈥檚.
Wendy鈥檚 has already started recruitment for the new restaurants.
