Welsh pubs and restaurants face 10pm curfew later this week

Welsh Government set to announce that they will have to shut at 10pm every night from Thursday

Pubs, cafes and restaurants in Wales will have to shut at 10pm every night under new rules to tackle the spread of coronavirus.

The new measures are set to come into force on Thursday.

This is in line with a decision by º£½ÇÊÓÆµ Government to introduce these measures in England from the same date.

Pubs will also be required to provide table service only.

All off-licences, including supermarkets, will also have to stop selling alcohol at 10pm.

These measures were confirmed by First Minister Mark Drakeford this evening

He also repeated the message that people should work from home if they can.
