The brand - part of Bourne Leisure - wants chefs, front of house teams and gardeners, as hospitality sector suffers recruitment crisis

Warner Leisure Hotels says it has around 300 jobs on offer at six hotels in Wales and England.

The company, which employs 2,500 staff, is stepping up recruitment as it prepares to fully reopen sites on May 17.

It comes at a time when the º£½ÇÊÓƵ hospitality sector is struggling to recruit due to thousands of staff leaving the sector for other industries during the pandemic and Brexit making it harder to get in workers from Europe.

The crisis could mean some hotels and restaurants being forced to limit operations.

Warner - part of the Bourne Leisure group - is looking for chefs, restaurant and bar teams, housekeepers, gardeners and maintenance workers at five hotels in England and one in Wales.

Head of operations and people Ian Gyte said: “We’re so excited to be able to re-open our hotels and are looking for a wealth of talent to join the team.

“Warner is a key employer throughout the º£½ÇÊÓƵ and we’re extremely proud to be able to offer jobs to thousands of people up and down the country during what’s been a particularly difficult time for job seekers.

“This year is set to be a really big year for º£½ÇÊÓƵ holidays with thousands of holidaymakers looking to escape to the great British coast and countryside for a well-deserved break.”
