Two became one in this refurbished Warwickshire barn

Rooms were knocked together to create a country kitchen that is a real social space in this home

Two became one in this refurbished room.

The current owners of Oldberrow Croft Barn in Ullenhall, Henley in Arden, wanted to create “a really sociable space” so knocked through from one room to another.

The result is a double length kitchen with an Aga, fitted units and ample room for a dining area. It is supported by a utility/boot room.

Other improvements to the barn have included tall picture windows and French doors, large Velux windows to the first floor with plenty of exposed hardwood and an entrance hall that includes a hardwood staircase and gallery landing.

Living space in the barn includes two reception rooms, one with a wood burner and the other with two sets of French doors to the open countryside.

It also has a snug which makes an ideal cinema room.

A downstairs toilet and cloakroom complete the rooms on the ground floor.

On the first floor there are three double bedrooms, the master with an en suite, the other two served by a family bathroom.
