Canadian coffee and donut brand Tim Horton has announced the opening date for its first North Wales cafe and is now targeting more Welsh stores.

The new venue at Broughton Shopping Park will create 50 jobs and is set to open on Monday December 13.

This will be the first one in North Wales and the first drive-thru across the country.

Bosses are now looking for more sites in Wales to continue their expansion.

Kevin Hydes, chief commercial officer of the Tim Hortons franchise in the º£½ÇÊÓƵ, said: “This is our first Tim Hortons opening in North Wales and we are delighted to be bringing our restaurant to Broughton, as we have already experienced positive feedback from the community.

"We are always looking for opportunities to grow further in Wales, so watch this space for more new opening announcements!"
