SuperFOIL insulation strikes deal to supply 750,000 sq ft of insulation to Travis Perkins

The business is also supplying its products to ScrewFix and Aldi as homeowners struggle to keep energy bills down

William Bown, the managing director of SuperFOIL Insulation

Lincoln-based SuperFOIL Insulation has struck a deal to supply 750,000 sq ft of insulation to every one of Travis Perkins’ 48 º£½ÇÊÓƵ stores.

As energy prices continue to soar the business has announced it is also supplying its products to ScrewFix and Aldi.

A spokesman said: “With the energy price cap having risen by £693 and energy company bosses forecasting a further £1,000 rise from October, key retailers are stocking SuperFOIL in an effort to help customers drive down heating bills.”

The family-run business employs 31 people at its headquarters in Lincoln, and is supplying builders merchant Travis Perkins with eighteen and a half truckloads of its products.

The company has also struck a £500,000 contract with ScrewFix and its products will be featured as an Aldi Specialbuy this October, which is taking 30,000 rolls of insulation and a further 70,000 rolls of securing tape.

The business said that will be followed with a further Specialbuy offer in January 2023 for pipe insulation.

Managing director William Bown said: “At a time when energy bills are making headlines and putting millions of households under real financial strain, it makes us tremendously proud to know that we’re helping thousands of families and businesses across the nation drive down energy bills with proper insulation.

“Insulation really is the first line of defence against spiralling energy costs and even simple DIY improvements are a cost effective way to reduce energy use.
