A Stroud-based food company has secured a deal with easyJet for its Wolfys porridge brand.

The airline has now listed Gloucestershire's Kitchen Garden Foods' Wolfys Protein Boosted Porridge pots on all flights.

James Horwood, director and joint-owner of KG Foods said: “This is a really, really, exciting deal for our Wolfys brand – the fact easyJet are now taking our products is a real testament to the quality of the product – it’s fantastic for our small, Stroud-based company.”

easyJet will be the second major airline listing for Wolfys in the last 24 months with British Airways also listing the brand in summer 2021.

According to its trading statement, easyJet flew over 33million passengers between October ‘22 and March’ 23 and Wolfys Protein Boosted porridge will be available on all easyJet flights from November onwards.

Mr Horwood added: “We launched Wolfys pretty much 10 years ago to the day and since then the brand has seen remarkable growth with listing across GWR trains, Waitrose, Ocado, Coop, hundreds of indie outlets, British Airways and now, easyJet.

"The pots are currently doing a 'test flight' and passengers will be able to enjoy them onboard all easyJet flights really soon. It’s a great opportunity for easyJet too – offering something filling, delicious and quite unique – I’ve no doubt it’ll be really successful for them”
