Strong start for Boohoo as revenues jump

Online fashion giant Boohoo has made a strong start to the year with revenues jumping nearly 40 per cent.

In a trading update for the three months to 31 May, the Manchester-headquartered group reported turnover across its brands, which include Pretty Little Thing and Nasty Gal, had risen 39 per cent to £254.3m.

Revenues in the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ grew 27 per cent while international sales were up 56 per cent.

CEO John Lyttle said: “The group has made a strong start to the year as we continue to disrupt and capture market share in the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ and internationally across all our brands.
