Many non-essential retailers will be opening their doors next week - but one Manchester start-up has found a new way for people to shop.

The Shirt Society has been launched by Matt Bird supplying a range of both formal and casual shirts on a rolling monthly subscription.

Members simply log on to the platform, select their next month’s shirt, and it is delivered to their door or desk.

He says the business aims to make the “best shirt known to man” and take the “hassle out of” shopping for it.

“Our platform does just that,” said Matt.

“We’ll give you what you probably would have chosen anyway. Every month, all it takes it 30 seconds.”

The Shirt Society has now attracted the interest of well known Manchester tech entrepreneur and investor Scott Fletcher who has backed the business with a six figure cash boost.

Fletcher already heads up companies worth in excess of £250m and founded cloud service provider ANS more than 20 years ago.
