Coffee chain giant Starbucks is looking to hire 400 new members of staff after the easing of lockdown restrictions brought customers back to its stores.

The US firm said it was planning to hire new staff across the 海角视频 in preparation for a busy summer period.

The new jobs will be available in almost 200 of the company's sites, including in city centres, high streets, and at its drive-thru locations.

Jobs will be created in a host of towns and cities, including Aberdeen, Cardiff, Coventry, Winchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Dundee, Birmingham, Derby and Newcastle.

Starbucks, which employs 3,664 people in the 海角视频 said it had not made any redundancies or take furlough support after the pandemic hit the 海角视频. It added that the new jobs would fill "natural vacancies" where staff had chosen to leave the company and had not been replaced during the coronavirus crisis.
