Starbucks announces list of first º£½ÇÊÓÆµ branches to re-open

All stores will be operating with reduced opening hours and all beverages will be served in paper cups

Starbucks is staging a phased re-opening of 150 branches across the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ

Coffee-giant Starbucks has revealed the locations of the first 150 stores to re-open across Britain.

The company is staging a phased re-opening of some of its branches across the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ - for drive-thru and takeaway only - including 22 in the North West, 14 in the West Midlands and a further eight in the North East; with more stores expected to re-open in the near future.

New measures have been introduced to ensure stores adhere to health and safety guidance including upweighted handwashing, cleaning and social distancing as well as plexi glass screens and contactless payments only.

All stores will be operating with reduced opening hours and a full menu of beverages - which will be served in paper cups - will be available. Food will also be served but with a restricted menu.

In the North West the stores which are re-opening are as follows: Beehive Business Park in Blackburn, Blackburn Road in Bolton, Barracks Road in Burnley, Matrix Park in Chorley, Lamplugh Road in Cockermouth, the A565 at Ince Blundell, Leeds White Rose, Edge Lane, Speke Boulevard and Sugarbrook Drive all in Liverpool, Blackpool Road and Fleetwood Road in Preston, Stubbins Lane in Ramsbottom, Manchster New Road in Rochdale and Battlefield in Shrewsbury.

As well as the branches at 1 Oxford Road, Manchester, Manchester Trafford Centre, Rainford Road in St Helens, Calder Park and Snowhill in Wakefield, Junction 9 Retail Park in Warrington and Scot Lane in Wigan.

In the West Midlands the stores which are re-opening are those at the A38 at Barton-under-Needwood, Maypole, New Street, Northfield all in Birmingham, Tile Hill in Coventry, Bermuda Leisure Park in Nuneaton, West Bromwich, Hough Retail Park in Stafford, Talke Road in Stoke-on-Trent and Wolstanton Retail Park in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

As well as branches at Welcome Breaks at Corley South, Hopwood, Warwick North and Warwick South.
