A Salford brewery has predicted growth of almost 550% by 2023 after it launched a £30m deal for its beer to be served from a new site at Manchester Airport's new Terminal Two.

Seven Brothers has announced a lucrative deal giving airport restaurant and bar operator HMSHost International exclusivity to host its range of beers at the new Amber Alehouse, which opened earlier this month.

The venue at the airport's new £1bn Terminal Two extension is a modern industrial bar aimed at pre-flight pints and food offering a "local experience in the airport".

It will aim to mirror the atmosphere and ethos of the brand's Manchester beer houses – with staff trained to offer customers a 'craft brewery experience'.

CEO Keith McAvoy said: “It is a hugely exciting time for our business as we expand and recruit to enable us to grow. The Manchester airport partnership takes our business to the next level, giving our brewery a global platform and getting our beers in front of new drinkers.

“Based on footfall predictions for the next three years, we anticipate we will need to more than triple our current production to just to meet the demand of the Amber Alehouse in Manchester’s Terminal Two.”
