Sales near 拢40m at textbook publishing company CGP

Sales neared £40m at a Cumbria-headquartered textbook publishing company, whose products are used in schools across the country, during its latest financial year.

Coordination Group Publications has reported a turnover of £38.9m for the 12 months to August 31, 2020, up from £36.2m.

The Broughton In Furness-based business' pre-tax profits also increased from £13.7m to £14.9m over the same period.

CGP was founded in 1995 by Richard Parsons and covers a range of school subjects at Key Stages one, two and three as well as GCSEs and A-Levels.

A statement signed off by the board said: "The increase in turnover has been driven by an improvement in the group's 海角视频 book sales.

"Operating profit has increased slightly in 2020 due to changes in sales mix."

The company sold more than 12 million products in 2020, according to its website.
