A sports bar heralded as a gamer’s paradise in the heart of Leeds is gearing up to unveil a new look when it reopens next month.

Roxy Ball Room is set to reveal a bigger and better bar when it reopens on May 17 to reveal a supersized 'gaming utopia' across three floors.

The revamped venue will still focus on the ball games, food and drinks that has made it a focal part of a Leeds night out, but a neighbouring venue has undergone a makeover to add new gaming options.

Former sister venue Roxy Arcade has been ripped out and refitted to become part of Roxy Ball Room, adding a new subterranean bar area and a mix of entertainment.

New additions include a crazy pool course, combining crazy golf and pool to see which players navigate a variety of obstacles to pot the ball on a waist-high mini-golf course under UV light, using a pool cue instead of a putter.

The basement will also feature two new Duckpin bowling lanes – a mix of ten-pin bowling and skittles – two Bank Shot shuffleboards and a ping pong table.

Roxy Ball Room has also invested in three private karaoke rooms and arcade machines.

The ground floor bar will feature five beer pong tables, whilst the first floor will have four full-size American pool tables, two shuffleboards, two beer pong tables and two more ping pong tables.
