A fashion brand co-founded by reality TV star Ross Worswick is to go it alone after the departure of its major shareholder.

The Couture Club was founded by the Lancashire-born MTV star and entrepreneur Scott Shashua with a £5,000 investment.

It has been backed by its largest shareholder 2squared Agency, which was acquired by JD Sports in 2017 after it hit financial difficulty.

However, according to documents filed with Companies House, 2squared Agency no longer has a significant shareholding in The Couture Club.

The chief financial officer of JD Sports, Neil Greenhalgh, has also resigned from the board. He first took up the role in July 2022, succeeding Peter Cowgill.

Documents filed with Companies House also show that Mr Worswick and Mr Shashua are now the only two major shareholders of The Couture Club.
