Rank Group, the owner of Mecca Bingo, has announced double-digit growth as º£½ÇÊÓÆµ customers return to casinos and digital gambling platforms. The London-based gambling company reported in a market update this morning that its group like-for-like Net Gaming Revenue (NGR) increased by 12 per cent to £197.4m, continuing the positive trend seen with the reopening of casinos.
The firm's venue NGR rose by 10 per cent, while digital NGR saw a 15 per cent increase. The NGR for Rank Groups' two primary º£½ÇÊÓÆµ digital channels, Grosvenor and Mecca, experienced surges of 21 per cent and 23 per cent respectively, as reported by .
John O'Reilly, the chief executive, commented: "With all business units performing well, the double-digit growth in our Grosvenor venues and º£½ÇÊÓÆµ digital business is particularly encouraging, with customers clearly enjoying the improvements we are making across our land-based estate and to our digital offering,".

He added: "Rank is now a stronger and more sustainable business, and we are looking forward to the land-based legislative reforms coming to fruition in 2025,".
Rank Group, which is headquartered in Maidenhead, operates 152 locations across the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ through its Mecca Bingo and Grosvenor casino sites. In August, the company announced a return to profitability, exceeding previous forecasts.
Its net gaming revenue grew by nine per cent year-on-year to £734.4m in the 12 months ending June 30, 2024, up from £671.4m in the previous year.
