A Liverpool hospitality group is creating over 100 jobs as the sector looks ahead to coming out of lockdown in spring.

Pub Invest Group, which owns popular city venues such as McCooley's, Level, Sgt Peppers and Brooklyn Mixer, is looking to build a new team ahead of the sector's reopening.

Pubs and restaurants in England will be able to start reopening outdoor areas from mid-April, but indoor spaces including pubs, bars and hotels will have to remain closed until May.

On reopening, businesses will no longer be restricted to serving alcohol with a substantial meal and last year's 10pm curfew has also been scrapped.

Pub Invest Group is the largest independent operator in Liverpool, and its operations director, Mike Edwards, said “The group is lucky to have some of the best outdoor spaces in this great city of Liverpool; and we now have some dates to work up to, so plans can be implemented.

"We are looking to build a team based on the experience and talents of any aspiring hospitality sector workers.

"So if you fancy a fast paced role in hospitality, ranging from bar staff to GM, please contact us with a current copy of your CV."
