Pizza chain DOUGH&Co is opening a new restaurant in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent

Pizza chain DOUGH&Co is opening a new restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent.

The woodfired pizza company's latest branch will open at The Potteries Centre, in Hanley, in June.

It will join popular food names Bon Pan Asian, Chiquito and The Burger Priest when it moves into the former Pizza Express unit in The Hive.

Amy Whittaker, general manager of The Potteries Centre, said: "We're delighted to be welcoming DOUGH&Co to our delicious line-up of dining options here at The Potteries Centre. We really do pride ourselves on giving our customers a variety of options when it comes to eating and drinking, whether they're dropping by for a spot of lunch or meeting friends for dinner before a night on the town, there's something for every foodie here.

"Like much of the º£½ÇÊÓƵ, Stoke-on-Trent residents are big pizza lovers and we know that DOUGH&Co is a tried and tested brand, with a fantastic reputation for serving up authentic cuisine.

"We're looking forward to seeing the team thrive, as they join our vibrant food community at The Hive, and wish them luck as they develop a great team over the course of their opening."

DOUGH&Co CEO Chris Sharman added: "We are excited to open in Hanley and to offer fresh wood-fired pizza like they haven't experienced before.

"We've just opened a restaurant in Milton Keynes and in Sheffield, with great success, and are looking forward to doing the same in Hanley."
