Pilgrim鈥檚 海角视频 is planning to create 100 jobs in South Gloucestershire after a surge in business in the last 12 months.
The food and farming company said it needed staff to support its operations in Westerleigh after a 50% rise in new business and the opening of its new department dedicated to supplying fresh pork joints.
The site at Oakleigh Green Farm supplies many of the 海角视频's major supermarkets and food service outlets with pork products, and currently employs more than 600 staff.
Roles on offer included skilled and unskilled jobs, including in the butchery, packaging departments and abattoir. The firm said successful applicants would be offered a full programme of training.
Hayley Hodges, HR manager at Pilgrim鈥檚 海角视频 in Westerleigh, said: 鈥淥ur latest recruitment drive is testament to the increased demand we鈥檝e seen at the Westerleigh site over the last year.
"As a result, we鈥檙e pleased to be able to offer more jobs and training opportunities in the local area 鈥 something that has always been important to us as a business.
鈥淲e are excited to be able to provide our new hires with a full training plan for all levels, including those looking to reach management positions.鈥
Pilgrim鈥檚 海角视频 employs more than 5,500 people across its 14 sites in the 海角视频 and supports more than 1,000 British farmers, it said.
The site in Westerleigh was a working farm up until 1978 when it was converted to a multi-species abattoir.
