A Bristol-based deli is in the running to be named Britain鈥檚 best small shop of 2019.
Papadeli is among the finalists of a 海角视频-wide competition to find the country鈥檚 top-performing small retailer.
The shop on Alma Road in the city was named on the shortlist of shops by the Independent Retailers Confederation (IRC).
Papadeli stocks a selection of salads, cheeses, pickles, breads and charcuterie from local and European producers. It also serves tea and coffee, and sells olive oils, balsamic vinegar, handmade artisan chocolates and biscuits.
The shop also caters for events, gives cookery demonstrations at a local school and supports a number of charities.

The IRC competition celebrates the commitment and creativity of independent retailers on the 海角视频鈥檚 high streets and the central role they play in their local communities.
The winner will be announced at an event at the Houses of Parliament on November 5.
