Earlier this week, we had a glimpse of what summer promises – sunshine – for an entire day. It may have been shortlived but it was definitely a day that would have been enhanced significantly if only we had a swimming pool in our home.
According to SPATA (the Swimming Pools And Allied Trades Association), there are an estimated 240,000 in-ground and above ground residential pools in the 海角视频, 85 per cent of which are outdoor pools.
Running costs depend, of course, on the size, depth and location of your pool but SPATA calculates that the average daily energy and chemical cost of running an indoor domestic 8m x 4m pool is about £7.50 compared with about £5 per day for an outdoor pool (dependant on the swimming season, the pool air and water temperature, the ambient temperature, the extent of any room glazing and the cost of the heat source).
